Spiral Galaxy
This galaxy can be see in a reasonably dark site with the naked eye - making it the most remote object visible without the aid of a telescope or binoculars.
This image is similar to the one taken with the ST-2000XM but with a wider field. It shows companion dwarf elliptical galaxies M32 (right) and M110 (lower left just partially visible).
Distance: Estimated at 2.9 million light years away and 250,000 light years across
